With the huge space battles that go down in this issue, I was tempted to compare it to Star Trek, but, honestly, Star Trek ain’t got nothin’ on this Avengers tie-in to Infinity. Jonathan Hickman orchestrates an intense encounter that’s simply epic. It’s of note that there’s a certain lack of humanity as far as the superheroes go. Surprisingly, we instead find our sympathies with characters who are just about as loathsome as you can find in the Marvel Universe.
