The Avengers #17 Review

It’s strange how Jonathan Hickman got me so pumped for Infinity with New Avengers, yet he’s done the exact opposite with his main Avengers series. With co-writer Nick Spencer joining him at the helm, Hickman preps Avengers to launch into Infinity with the momentum of a blimp. It’s slow to start, and there’s no oomph when it reaches the climax. It’s just kinda there.
