The “Superior” label continues to breed more books for Marvel’s Spider-verse, but unfortunately Carnage isn’t deserving of the title. While other Spider-Man characters are able to hold down their own series -- Venom, Scarlet Spider -- Carnage has been given the mini-series approach, usually to acceptable results. This endeavor features the Wizard trying to sculpt Carnage into a minion for his latest iteration of the Frightful Four, and while stranger concepts have worked in comics, this one lacks the execution to be truly entertaining.
