Saga #13 Review

It's been a while since we've had a new issue of Saga, but was Chapter 13 worth the wait? While it's always nice to rendezvous with old friends, this month's issue from writer Brian K. Vaughan and artist Fiona Staples was a little light on the plot.

In terms of advancing the story, not much happens in Saga #13. The issue reads more as a series of interesting standalone moments than a pivotal constellation of plot-related elements. Vaughan has a knack for capturing his characters' voices, and we see more of that here than we have in quite some time (literally, the last issue came out in April).
