Quantum and Woody #2 Review

The first issue of Quantum and Woody was great, but this second issue is freaking amazing. It takes everything that worked in that first book and ramps it up to eleven. You'll laugh out loud at how seriously awful the two main characters of this book are. Terrible people, through and through. Political correctness goes right out the window and humor rests comfortably in the gutter. Brilliant might not be the right word, but it's the only one that comes to mind. So, throwing good taste aside, we'll call Quantum and Woody brilliant.


James Asmus manages to instill Quantum and Woody with some heart and genuinely charming moments. These brothers from other mothers do have a few serious scenes. That's great. But let's be honest, what really makes this issue work are moment like when the two lead characters' penises accidentally touch. This is a really and truly, funny comic book. It earns its jokes, even if they are as lowbrow as jokes get.
