When it comes to superhero crossovers, no one does it like Disney and Marvel. But 20th Century Fox is hoping to change that in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past as two generations of mutants collide. But what about Fox's other comic book property Fantastic Four? Might director Josh Trank's rebooted characters cross paths with the X-Men?
In a recent interview with SFX, comic book writer Mark Millar, who's also a creative consultant at Fox, spoke to the possibility of the two franchises teaming up at some point. "Without question I think you have to see some of these guys showing up in each other's movies," he said. "I think the most exciting thing in superhero movies, until The Avengers came along, was when Nick Fury showed up in Iron Man. Even though it was a guy with an eye patch it was really cool -- and I expect we will see more of that."
