With the release of Madden NFL 25 today, the latest entry in EA Sports' football series becomes the first game eligible for the Xbox One upgrade program being offered by certain retailers.
As previously announced, the upgrade program allows gamers to buy certain Xbox 360 games now and then get the Xbox One version later this year for only $10 by trading in the 360 version.
Both Amazon and GameStop are participating, although you'll need to be a PowerUp Rewards member in order to take advantage of the deal at GameStop. Along with Madden 25, GameStop's deal also includes Call of Duty: Ghosts, FIFA 14, Battlefield 4, and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Amazon's offer includes all of those games in addition to NBA 2K14, Watch Dogs, and Need for Speed Rivals.
