To date, the best issues of the current Deadpool volume have been the ones to take a break from the main saga and offer up "lost adventures" done in the style of Bronze Age Marvel books. Issue #13 was one such side-story, exploring a funky fresh, '70s-style team-up between Deadpool, Power Man, and Iron Fist as they battled a pimp named The White Man. However, part of the appeal with these lost adventures is that they're standalone, done-in-one tales. The stories don't have a chance to wear out their welcome in the way the longer arcs on this series tend to. So the fact that the feud between Deadpool and The White Man carries over into issue #14 was immediate cause for concern.
