Charlie Murder Review

Describing punk-rock brawler Charlie Murder to a friend made it sound more exciting than it is. "Yeah, this one time I fought a bunch of zombies on a pirate ship and beat them up with someone's left arm, then I fought some ninjas in a forest, and then a bunch of dwarves in a city." The bizarre Mad Libs-style approach of throwing everything and anything it can think of into the mix, plus a few good jokes along the way, helps this competent co-op brawler stand out simply because it’s all over the place. Combat can feel repetitive, but some RPG depth helps provide a rewarding incentive to keep fighting.
