Under 23' ** 1977 18' Centurion Bubble Deck Jet, Boat and Trailer have been restored **

Unfortunately its time to sell my beautifully restored 1977 Centurion 18' bubble deck jet boat. My family has outgrown tis boat and we need to make room for a bigger boat. This is a full stringer, capped boat. Powered by a ford 460, with a new Jaccuzi WJ pump. I purchased this boat from the original owner in 2010. Since then a lot has changed. In 2013 I wanted to do some upgrades on the boat, and that's when it began. I started with the interior. I had new marine carpet put in, at the same time also had all the seats re-upholstered. Before having the carpet put in, I had the floors and stringers inspected for any cracks or delamination. Everything checked out ok. I had a new steering rack and cable installed, along with the diverter cable, and throttle cable. I worked with Paul Kane from high flow dynamics and got a set of his ported Dove heads and a ported victor intake. Ford racing roller rockers. New push rods. New holly ultra hp 850 double pumper carb. New edelbrock fuel pump. MSD pro billet ready to run distributed with MSD coil and wires. New Rewarder ceramic coated headers with water lines and new "T" valve. New mini high torque starter. It has a 10qt Armondos racing custom oil pan, and new oil pump. Custom rail kit that has fresh powder coat. New pump done by Tom at Jet Boat Performance with maybe 15 hrs on it, if even that. Manual place diverter with new powder coating. New pump intake loader. New water valve off pump to the motor. Custom made IMCO show polished stainless steel saddle fuel tanks with fuel level senders in each side. IMCO super flow fuel valve which allows you to choose which fuel tank to run on, and also shows fuel level on that tank on the fuel gauge when switched. All new fuel lines. Full set of Faria gauges. Red top optima battery with anodized billet tray. Flex plate, and drive line cover are powder coated. Drive line re-built with new u joints. New anodized angled gauge bezels and steering wheel hub/neck. New steering wheel. New polished Forward/Reverse lever with lock out. Still has original foot throttle pedal. Joe Shelfo Jr. owner of precision craft marine has done almost all the work/rigging of this boat.

The paint looks great. Painted in 2014, this boat is garage kept with a cover on it. The color is Magic red, black and white with a fine dusting of metallic flake. It was Pin striped by Eric Rey's. The scoop was custom made of carbon fiber and painted to match. The scoop also has a detachable lower tray. The boats name is "Suckin N Pumpin", the original name when I bought it. Being a jet boat, its a fitting name. Bottom is in excellent condition. Iv never beached it, I would moor it off the shore line. Boat has only seen fresh water.

The trailer is a Mr. D's custom tandem axle trailer. I had the whole trailer disassembled and powder coated. It has a new detachable tongue. Each leaf spring pack was disassembled to powder coat and re-banded back together. Powder coated fenders also. All four hub assembly's are new. New bearings, grease, and bearing buddy's. New carpeted inner fender boards. New carpeted wood trailer bunk boards, with all stainless hardware. All new wiring. All new clear LED trailer lights, that are amber and red colored when lit up. I had the original aluminum trailer wheels polished and then powder coated. New BFG tires put on when wheels were finished. Rolling jack attached to trailer. New Trailer chains with nylon cover so it doesn't scratch trailer tongue. To have a new trailer built like this nowadays would cost you $6-$7k I've ben told.
Everything is either polished, powder coated or anodized. This boat and trailer is excellent condition, and runs great. Real turn key boat. It turns 5000 rpms and does 69mph. I talked with Rick Lee owner of centurion boats, Who raced for Hondo in 1975-76. The jet boat he raced called the Hurry Round Hondo, actually has the same bottom as the centurion 18' boats. Irv Brendel (brendella boats) made the 18' bubble deck with a bottom similar to the Hondo Pantera which was the HRH hull. Rick Lee bought bare hulls from Irv and built them as Centurions. The reason why the Hondo, Centurion, and Brendellas look really similar. (sorry for the history lesson, I find it very interesting).
Love the boat but need to go bigger for my family. The lines on this hull are just plain sexy. Its a real head turner. Interested in possible trade for a nice Carrera 205 elite closed bow, jet drive with a bbc. I'm sure there is more to list, I also have a folder with TONS of receipts and records. The boat has MAYBE 15 hours on it since completely refinishing everything. Asking $16000 OBO. Feel free to make an offer, but please don't insult me. I have a lot of money into this boat and trailer. Call or text John at 707-590-0929. I have a TON of pictures but I'm having trouble posting them because of there size. I can email/text them easier.
