Anyone with rotator cuff surgery before? Need input

So I tore my supraspinatus and possibly my sublabral. Not complete ruptures but partials... I will probably have the surgery first or second week of September thanks to industrial forcing a shot and therapy first. Ive had 5 previous surgeries (2 wrist UCl ruptures, 1 hand, 1 knee) so I am familiar with rehab. My question is this, I already dropped 8K on our ski trip over Christmas and New Years to Park City. How do you think the shoulder will feel 3 months post surgery? Snowboarding shouldn't be too bad, but my current therpaist freaked out when i told her what I was going to do. Since I did this at work (fire dept) I cant really put it off, also its being a real pain right now and I quit doing many of the things I usually do including waterskiing and wakeboarding. Anyone here have a thought about what it would feel like 3 months post-op?
