Comic-Con: Marvel's Captain America 2, Guardians Press Conference

Marvel Studios brought two big upcoming projects to its San Diego Comic-Con Press Conference on Saturday: Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy.


First up was the Cap conference, which included stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Emily VanCamp, Frank Grillo, Cobie Smulders, as well as directors Anthony Russo and Joe Russo.



During the Q&A, Evans explained a little bit about what Steve Rogers has been up to since joining The Avengers and how he's grown from film to film. "In the first Captain America, it's about giving


the opportunity to serve, the opportunity to be a soldier. In The Avengers, you have so many other characters and all these establishments and relationships, and you can't really dive too deeply into any one character. In this movie, it's about showing Cap, now given the ability to give up himself, the question now becomes 'Well, what's right?' It's not just about doing the right thing, it's what is the right thing... It's not black and white, it's gray, and I think that's where his relationship with Black Widow comes to fruition... Something happens, and as a result, these two people from different worlds need to rely on one another."
