New to the site and just bought an 81 sleekcraft sportster with a stock rebuilt 460 and as far as I can tell a dominator 12-S jet drive. I'm new to jet boats and don't know too much about jet drives yet. The suction housing says it's a dominator 12-S and I can only assume it's a dominator jet. Some input would be greatly appreciated. I've only had it out for about an hour and it was dropping oil pressure at wot so I just putted around mostly...when I did have it opened up it was only able to hit 48mph on gps. Seems a bit slow for what it is...plan on going through the pump this winter..any advice on what's good to do to these dominators since I will have it apart?
